Richie Craig “Swole” Ledbetter, age 25, of Acworth, Georgia, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 8, 2019.

Swole was nothing less than a great guy – he was funny, charismatic and loved sports. He enjoyed being social and celebrating life with his family and friends. He was the first to cut up to put a smile on your face and the last one to let you down.

Swole attended Campbell High School where he excelled in baseball and football. His love of sports continued into adulthood and he was a die hard Georgia and Falcons fan.

He worked as a mechanic at Havoline and most recently at the printing company, Techtonics. The job he was most proud of was being a father to his pride and joy, Aliyah. He loved her with all his heart and enjoyed bonding together at one of her favorite places: the park.

Swole is preceded in death by his father, Victor H. Ledbetter. His memory will be cherished by his mother, Wanda Brendel Millwood (Russell) of Acworth; daughter, Aliyah; brothers, Bud Brendel (Stephanie) of Austell and Chris Ledbetter (Diane) of Biloxi, Mississippi; nieces, Mackenzie, Caitlin, Abigail and Aubrey; nephew, Peyton; cousins, Danielle Brendel of Acworth, Trinity Hardnett of Newnan; aunt, Becky Brendel of Acworth; uncles, Darrell Brendel (Tammy) of Acworth, Ronnie Ledbetter (Kendra) of Taylorsville; and many other beloved family members and friends.

Craig was just like one of my own kids, over the past month or two he was at my daughters at least 3 times a week & we sat up half the nights playing Rummy or spades which I won every game. Lol. He was always so funny & always laughing, smiling & cutting up. My 3 oldest grandkids thought he was hilarious, he always made them laugh as well as me, kayla & tyler. When we would b going to Walmart or just running to the corner store Craig would Always say I’m going & we would say come on. He would give anyone the shirt off his back & would do anything in the world for anyone & never ask for anything in return. Craig we love u so much & miss u so much. Thank you for always putting a smile on our faces & making us laugh even when we didn’t have much to smile or laugh about. We will see you again one day. RIP.. Love you always... Aunt Lisa.
