Kim…I am so sorry for your loss.  I wish I had known Rob better because everything I have heard sounds like he was an amazing guy.  I am truly sorry the world lost such a great person.

I’ll never forget the first time I met Big Rob. Nor will I ever forget how much guidance and wisdom he provided me. No less than the patience and tolerance he had for me. He called  Big Rob for many reasons. Not just his stature but his heart, patience and love for others. He bailed me out of one of my darker moments. Which literally changed my life in a big way. One I’ll never forget. Have a bunch of respect for you. You will be sorely missed by so many.

There are no words that can comfort the sorrow you, Ryan and Kyle are feeling. We pray you find peace in knowing Rob is with his parents, and he will always be guiding and loving each of you in your hearts. We love you.

Kelly and I have known Rob (or Robbie as we called him) for over 40 years, as classmates, teammates, and later neighbors.  We'll surely miss seeing Robbie and his smile that instantly takes us back to when we were much younger.  Even now I can remember hot humid two-a-days when everyone was miserable. Robbie would have that big smile on his face, letting us know he's still having fun.  It's hard to put into words feelings of sadness accompanied by happy memories. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Kim, Kyle, Ryan, and the rest of Rob's family.  As I was told many years ago by another classmate that's no longer with us, The Lord sends his best soldiers to fight the toughest battles.

I met Rob at UGA in 1886....he became part of our "crew" immediately. Rob always brought energy amd life to where we were and that impressed upon us greatly. His laughter, quick wit and steadfast energy was a wanted commodity to kids trying to move from where they were, into adulthood. I will miss him amd for what he stood for. I met Rob at UGA in the mid to late 80's. He was definitely a "life of the party" kind of guy! Although we lost touch, we reconnected a couple years ago at Jon and Janice Lark's New Year's Eve party. I was heartbroken to learn of his condition. I will always remember Rob's huge smile and magnetic personality when a group of guys made a spring break trip to Hilton Head. We had an absolute blast!Cheers Brother. You will be missed by many!!
