

Mr. Robert Wallace Slater III, 30, of Woodstock, GA passed away May 26, 2016. Bobby was born in Dunwoody, GA on November 16, 1985. He is a graduate of Etowah High School and worked his way to a becoming a master plumber. He was an extremely hard worker and very ambitious. Some of Bobby’s many hobbies include boating, dancing, four wheeling, hiking and scuba diving. He had an infectious love for life and family. Bobby could make anyone laugh with his jokes and brought joy to the lives of many people. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert W. Slater and aunt, Suzie Vassey. Bobby leaves behind his wife, Lacey Slater, son, Robert W. Slater IV (affectionately known as Bobby the Forth), mother, Jackie Lastowski, father and step-mother, Robert and Kay Slater, brother, Jay Kalfas, sister, Cassie Pye, paternal grandmother, Mary Slater, and maternal grandparents, John and Delores Bremner. Also surviving are aunts and uncles, Janet and Keith Rucker, Jim and Alice Bremner, John (JJ) Bremner, Mary Slater and Barbara & Barney Simonson, niece and nephew, Jacie and Chayton Pye, cousins, Jamee, Jodee, James, John, Ryan, Jackie, Sean, Jillian, Chris, Kaitlyn, Craig, Kayla and Brooks as well as a large and loving extended family. A celebration of Bobby’s life will be Monday, May 30, 2016 at 11:00am in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main St, Woodstock, GA 30188.
