

Roger Michael Curtiss, 75, of Woodstock, Georgia formally of Basin, Wyoming, died December 28, 2025. During his long journey with health complications including beating cancer, he was supported by his loving family.
He graduated from Basin High School where he excelled at sports then attended South Dakota School of Mining and Technology. Roger served in the USNavy during the Vietnam war. Not only was he a fighter with the strongest mind and heart, he was an amazing father and husband. He is survived by his loving wife Debra V. Curtiss; sons and their families which he loved very much: Joshua M. Curtiss and fiancé Osiris Trejo of Holly Springs, and Joel S. Rogers and wife Cathy White of Dunwoody; two grandchildren: Alex White and Benjamin Rogers; sisters: Sheri Hartman of Otto, Wyoming and Connie Reinig of Helena, Montana; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his sister, Vickie Wenki.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials be made to the American HeartAssociation.
There will be a military honor ceremony conducted at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA; January 15, 2026 at 11:00am
