

Born March 6, 1943 in Paraaque, Philippines, Romeo Ramos was the son of Cesario Ramos and Andrea Cruz Ramos. He completed high school at St. Andrews School in his home city. In 1966, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and began his first station on the USS Hawkins. He received several accolades and among them were for his participation in the Vietnam conflict and Task Force One Four Zero Manned Spacecraft Recovery Force, Atlantic. Following his 6-year enlistment, he moved to Maryland with his siblings and later settled in Albany, GA, where he worked at Procter and Gamble for 27 years as a Manufacturing Technician. In his retirement years, he split his time between the Philippines and the US, visiting friends and spending time with his children and family.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Louder, Edmundo, Lucila, Bernardo, Mercedita, and Bertila.
He is survived by siblings Walfredo, Flordeliza, Necifas, and Angelito Santa Ana.
Other survivors include his daughter, Heidi Ramos and her husband, Lee Jackson with granddaughters Theresa Ramos-Jackson and Elise Ramos-Jackson; Son, Roger Ramos and his wife May Ramos and grandson Oliver Miles Ramos; and Son, Reginald Ramos. He will be remembered as a beloved Lolo, Dad, Brother, and Friend.
