Roy Joseph Rogers

Roy Joseph Rogers, age, 76, of Woodstock, GA passed away suddenly April 16, 2016. Roy was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He retired from the United Sates Air Force after 23 years of service, Department of Defense as a QA Specialist after 20 years, he was president of AFGE Local 2069 and he was an avid golfer. Roy is survived by his wife, Doris M. Rogers, son, Scott Rogers and daughter, Janet M. Harris, sisters, Dale Mason and Ann McGraw, half-sisters Susan Watts and Pauline Shaw, brother, Johnny Foster and half-brother Michael Rogers, grandchildren, Calib Rogers, Marisa Flakes and Ryan Harris and great-grandaughter, Mia June Flakes. A funeral Service will be held Friday, April 22, 2016 at 9:30 am in the Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at 11:30 am at Georgia National Cemetery with full military honors.
