Saling T. Bacus

Exaltacion "Saling" Tangpuz Bacus was a protective and loving great grandmother, grandma, mother, wife, sister and friend. She left this world suddenly on July 6, 2023 at the age of 74 in the front garden of her home with the sun on her face.

She was born on September 15, 1948 to Angela and Eliseo. She married her husband Federico Bacus on May 27, 1970 and had four children together: Analisa, Mary Joy, Alegria, and Michael.

Saling loved to eat Filipino food with her family, sew and crochet, and garden. In the last years of her life she pushed herself to make sure she attended to what was most important to her- tending to her gardens, traveling between the United Sates and the Philippines to see all her family, and insisting on walking to church.

Saling is survived by her four children, many grandchildren, and one great grandson.

To honor Salings Catholic faith, a wake will be held on July 12th at 7 PM at Poole Funeral Home, 1970 Eagle Drive, Woodstock GA, 30189. Funeral services will be held at the church she attended, Bible Baptist Church on 2037 Eula Drive Marietta GA, 30066 Friday, July 14 at 10 AM preceded by a viewing.
