

Sanda Louise Chatham Bedingfield, age 83, passed away the morning of December 24, 2024 at her residence in Marietta, GA surrounded by her immediate family. She was born on August 5, 1941 in Atlanta, GA. Daughter of the late Louise Hunnicutt Chatham and Ralph Pierce Chatham and sister of the late Billy Chatham.
Sanda was predeceased by her devoted husband Ceasar Vincent Malaterra of 17 years where they had built a remarkable life for themselves full of love and adoration, laughter and companionship.
Her memory lives on through her family. Her brother Clay Chatham. Her daughters Pam Glotzbach and Deborah Pope. Her sons William Bedingfield II and Mark Bedingfield. Her grandchildren Dolye Pope and Kayly Kassab. Her nephews Clay Chatham II and Cason Chatham.
Sanda was an accomplished ballet dancer and instructor. As a natural athlete she loved to run the sunset beaches of South Florida. Her passion for travel led her all over the world. She was happiest surrounded by family, laughing with her friends, growing her gardens, caring for her pets and making her home a sanctuary of artistic expression.
She was blessed with extraordinary friendships that lasted a lifetime. Thanks to everyone for your support and blessings! We will be laying Sanda to rest at Prospect Cemetery, Saturday March 22, 10-11am. There will will a Celebration of Life afterwards
