It is with our greatest sadness that we must set our beloved Sandra Ferrier free to the heavens. Her sweet body could not hold her ever so bright spirit anymore. She passed with love in her heart and a determination that matched none other. Born on August 20, 1941, she lost her battle to cancer on November 26, 2018 at the age of 77. Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Victor, and mother, Corine. She is survived by her two daughters, Kimberly (Curtis) and Kristin (Philip), her grandchildren, Chad, Chase (Breeana), Alexandra, along with great-grandchildren, Cassius, Araya and Isabelle. She leaves, as well, many loving friends who contributed to her beautiful, full life; including her children she sponsored from all over the world. Sandra earned her Masters in Speech and Hearing Pathology at University of Cincinnati and was a ballet, jazz and tap dancer who danced and performed with the likes of Liberace, Edgar Bergen and Tony Bennett. In the last 5 years, she danced on a senior hip hop team, The Silver Classix Crew, for the Atlanta Hawks and she even went on to Hollywood to perform on the TV series, "Dance Battle America”. Sandra lived life to the fullest and was often heard saying, “I have a wonderful life!” She will be missed by so many that had the honor of knowing this beautiful lady. A light has gone out on this earth but the heavens just became a whole lot brighter. Shine on, our beloved Sandra...shine on.
