Sandra "Sandy" Maddox

Sandra “Sandy” Maddox, age 58, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on April 2, 2022.

Sandy was a generous and kind hearted individual. She was very caring and thought of others before herself. She had a great smile and laugh and was described as “one in a million.” Her sweet spirit was evident in her patience, calmness and ability to see the glass as half full.

Sandy was a single mother and worked hard as an accountant to provide her children the world. She enjoyed motherhood and even adopted other children into her fold as an honorary grandmother. Sandy found joy in crafting, traveling to the beach and collecting seashells.

Sandy is survived by her parents, Robert McCall and Nancy Hancock; children, Jenny Davis, Patrick Roy (Regina) and his children, Tyler Maddox and Daniel Maddox; brother, Chris Hancock; and sister, Gina McCall (Eric).

The family will receive friends at 10:00am – 11:00am on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, Georgia 30188. A celebration of Sandy’s life will follow at 11:00am in the Reece Memorial Chapel. A committal service will follow at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens, 4355 Highway 92, Acworth, Georgia 30102. A reception will follow at 503 Bent Wood Drive, Woodstock, Georgia 30189.
