Sarah Andersen Lawrence

Sarah Andersen Lawrence, age 93, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023.Sarah was a lifelong Christian. She was a devoted believer, follower and teacher of the word of God...a true believer in peace and fellowship. She loved music of all kinds and played piano. She loved to read and a having a good discussion. She loved friendships and her family. Sarah received her BA from Lawrence University and her masters from University of Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Anker Andersen. Later in life, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lawrence, and her son, Mark Andersen. Sarah is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Martha (Derek) Buffardi, her son, Paul (Julie) Andersen, and her brother, John Steinberg. 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren: Erik Andersen (Samantha, Ike, Libby), Benjamin Andersen, Laura Grover (Max, Poppy, Rupert), Claire Andersen (Beth), Derek Buffardi Jr (Theresa), Luke Buffardi, Elaine Andersen (Charles) also survive. Sarah will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Marietta, 56 Whitlock Ave, Marietta, GA on Friday, March 31st at 11:00AM.
