Shirley Matilda Adams, affectionately known to all as Matilda, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 64. A deeply loving mother, devoted grandmother, and loyal friend, Matilda's kind heart and warm spirit touched everyone she met.
Matilda is survived by her beloved children: her son Terry and daughter-in-law Megan Adams, and her daughter Charlie and son-in-law Gabe Brown. Her greatest joy in life was being a grandmother, and she cherished every moment with her precious grandbabies, who brought light and laughter to her days.
She will be remembered for her gentle nature, her deep love for her family, and the joy she found in simply connecting with others. Though her presence will be missed beyond words, the love she shared lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A visitation memorial will be held in her honor on Thursday May 8, 2025 from 10am to 1pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you celebrate Matilda’s life by sharing a story, a laugh, or a warm conversation—just as she would have loved.
