Steve was always so kind and went out of his way to say hello and ask how I was doing. One day he saw me looking at my yard, he walked over and took one look and said, “you have moles”! Those little critters had made tunnels all through my yard and I had no clue how to get rid of them. That’s when Steve volunteered to get rid of those pests for me and he did just that. Steve was a great neighbor and I will miss seeing his smiling face from across the driveway.

My favorite memory with my Grandpa was this year at the beach. All the girls were outside but Jackson was out there instead of me. Me, my Dad, Uncle Randy, and Pops were inside in the living room talking. I was sitting in a chair in the corner, and there was a couch between me and Pops. When I looked over at Pops I saw he was messing with his hair. So I asked him, “what’s wrong with the mane?” He looked at me with a serious face and brushed his hair back. He looked back at me with a smile. I love you Pops always and forever. I will miss you.❤️

Steve was a mentor and friend when I was starting my business. Trained me well-still doing it after all these years. Glad to see we were able to meet up a few years ago when my wife daughter and I were touring SEC colleges. He was one of the good guys. RIP Steve
