Sue was known for her warm heart and joyful spirit. She especially loved spending time with her family, holding a special place in her heart for her grandson and her great-granddaughters, who brought her endless pride and happiness.
She found great joy in life’s simple pleasures—playing cards with friends, relaxing by the pool, and soaking up the sun at the beach. In her younger years, Sue loved spending time outdoors, whether at the ocean, by the pool, or in her own backyard.
Sue had a strong work ethic and a diverse career throughout her life. She also had a love for travel and adventure. Among her favorite destinations were Aruba, Hawaii, the Virgin Islands, and Florida. One of her most memorable experiences was a three-week trip out west in 2006, which she fondly remembered.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Belcher, and her daughter, Denise King.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosalind Belcher; her grandson, Chase King and his wife, Maddie; and her two great-granddaughters, Lucy and Della King.
Sue will be remembered for her kindness, her love of family, and the joy she brought to those who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
