

Susan Brown passed away on September 9, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and dedication. Born on July 4, 1962, Susan was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Susan was known for her unwavering support as Leah Brown's biggest fan. Her daughter could always count on Susan to be there cheering her on in every endeavor. Susan's love and encouragement laid the foundation for Leah's success and instilled in her the confidence to pursue her dreams.
Beyond being a dedicated mother, Susan was an adoring wife to Chet Brown. Their partnership was one built an unwavering commitment to each other's happiness. Their bond served as an inspiration to those around them.
Susan had a deep passion for UGA football. As an avid fan, she loved nothing more than spending autumn Saturdays cheering for her favorite team. In addition to her love of football, Susan had a passion for reading. Her curiosity and thirst for knowledge were infectious, leaving those around her inspired to embark on their own literary journeys.
One of Susan's greatest pleasures in life was traveling to the beach. The soothing sound of crashing waves and warm sand beneath her feet brought her immense joy and tranquility.
Susan is preceded in death by her father, Howard Kenneth Tyus.
Susan will be deeply missed by her surviving family members: Marion Tyus (Mother), Leah Brown (daughter), Chet Brown (husband), and Kenny Tyus (brother). Her unwavering love and presence will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
Friends and loved ones are invited to celebrate Susan's life at Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 1970 Eagle Dr, Woodstock, GA 30189, on September 16, 2023. Visitation will occur from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Susan will be laid to rest at Palmetto Cemetery, Brunswick, GA 31520, on September 18, 2023. The burial ceremony will commence at 2:00 PM.
Susan's warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering love touched the lives of many. She leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories that will forever be cherished by family and friends. Though she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
