Susan Kennington

Susan Dianne Beasley Kennington passed to be with our Heavenly Father on May 17, 2026. She was born March 18, 1972 in Montgomery, Alabama. She survived by her parents Patricia Dianne Cawthra Beasley and Gene Elbert Beasley of Prattville, Alabama and her husband Eric Kennington of Canton, GA. She is also survived by her sister Debra Luckie(Donald) of Montgomery, Alabama and her brother Randy Beasley(Lynda) of Springville, Alabama. Additionally she is survived by her niece Adelai and nephews Gage and Tyler and her stepson Joshua and step daughter Allyson. She is also survived by many fantastic friends who loved her and miss her.

Susan had two loves besides her family. Those were animals and gardening. She is greatly missed by her three fur babies that survive her. She also was always working on ways to grow beautiful flowers and was always experimenting on ways to make her garden flourish. Susan fought cancer for eight years and was a warrior in the fight against cancer. She helped many people who got a diagnosis cope with the news even as she fought it herself.

Susan was also a United States Air Force Veteran and there will be a service celebrating her life held at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, Georgia, on June 10, 2026 at 1:30 pm.

The family asks in lieu of flowers those wishing to pay respects make a donation to your local animal shelter or to the American Cancer Society.
