Suzanne Marie McGeary

Suzanne was born on February 20, 1961 to John and Joanne Gwin in Kansas City, MO where she grew up alongside her brother, John. She was valedictorian of the Class of 1979 at Robinsdale Armstrong High School then earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business at Arizona State University and Masters in Business Administration at University of Colorado.

She was married to Brian McGeary on June 18, 1994. They built a family together, raising their daughter and son, Shannon and Patrick. In addition to being a loving mother, Suzanne enjoyed spending her time playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with her friends at Bible study. As a mother, Suzanne raised her children in the ways of the Lord, teaching them to love, to serve, and to trust in Him always. She found comfort in verses such as 2 Timothy 4:7—"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." She now rests in the arms of Jesus, free from pain and sorrow, rejoicing in the presence of God.

Suzanne joins her father, John, in heaven. She is remembered fondly here on earth by her friends and family, including her mother Joanne, brother John, husband Brian, son Patrick, daughter Shannon, son-in-law Tyler, nephew Matthew, and two granddaughters Charlotte and Corinne. She was loved by many other friends and will be missed dearly.

A celebration of life service will be held on June 25, 2026 at 10:30am at Poole Funeral Home at 1970 Eagle Dr, Woodstock, GA 30189. In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Suzanne’s honor.
