She was a devoted homemaker and loved her family fiercely. She loved the Lord and was involved in her local church for over 50 years, where her favorite thing to do was cook homemade meals for the congregation. She also found so much joy in serving in the children’s ministry, where she truly was a “grandma” to everyone. She is preceded in death by her husband Virgil True Reedy, and her siblings, Velma Paris, Thelma Sharp, Claude Hilton, Paul Hilton, and Robert Hilton and her great-Grandchild Joshua Lucas Oldenkamp. Vera is survived by children, Ann Wallace and Gary Reedy; sibling Leroy Hilton; Grandchildren, Kevin Wallace, Kristina Reedy, Jason Reedy, and Mary Oldenkamp; and great-Grandchildren, Benjamin Morris, Kylah Wallace, Zachery Morris, Cade Wallace, Jared Reedy, Kaitlyn Reedy, and Caleb Oldenkamp. Thank you to all of our friends and family for your prayers and encouragement. She had a joy for life and we know we will see her again one day in Heaven. Please feel free (but not necessary), to wear brighter clothing to the memorial and or Burial, as she loved color. Her favorite colors were lavender and pink.
