

Vickie Christine McIntyre Leandro was born on January 19, 1962, in Jacksonville, Florida, to her late parents Jean and Gerald (Jerry) McIntyre. She passed away peacefully with her daughter and son-in-law at her side on February 19, 2024, at the age of 62, in Marietta, Georgia. She is survived by one daughter, Jessica Leandro, her son-in-law, Justin Dykes, her uncle, Ed McIntyre, aunt, Gail McIntyre, aunt, Norma Jean Trice, and her cousins Doug McIntyre, Cindy Keeton, Irl Trice, and Holly Trice. And last but certainly not least, her loyal canine companion Joey, and feline friends Audrey and Shadow.
As the child of a Navy family, Vickie spent her formative years in Louisville, KY, Charleston, SC, and finally Gulfport, MS, where she completed her high school education. In her career, Vickie worked as a customer service manager and human resources trainer, most notably with The Florida Times-Union. Following this, she dedicated her time to being a loving mother, caretaker for her parents, and created an online business which brought her many friends all around the world.
Vickie was loved for her fantastic sense of humor, quick wit, and her ability to charm anyone with her affable nature. She will be remembered as forgiving, warm, loving, and comforting to those who knew her. Vickie was an avid lover of Sonny's BBQ, wonton soup, and boba tea and enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, gaming, listening to Jazz and Rock n' Roll, and cuddling her beloved animals.
A visitation for Vickie will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Woodstock Funeral Home, Inc., 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, GA 30188, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
