Vincent Reed Sanders, 60, of Woodstock, Georgia, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026, lovingly surrounded by his family. Vince was a beloved husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Vince was born on May 28, 1966, in Oakland, Maryland, to Georgia and Barry Sanders. He attended Lyman Ward Military Academy in Camp Hill, Alabama.
Vince possessed an entrepreneurial spirit that followed him throughout his life. He began his career with AC Nielsen while simultaneously building his own business, Interior Audio Designs. His drive, creativity, and determination eventually led him to establish Design Media Group, Design Hardware, and Design Lighting Group. Vince was a gifted business builder who took great pride in creating successful companies, forming lasting relationships, and pursuing new opportunities.
In 1991, Vince married Donna Lynn Clark of Thomasville, Georgia, and together they shared 35 years of marriage. They eventually planted roots in Woodstock, where they built a life centered around family, friendship, and community. They raised their two sons, Trenton and Garret, and Vince took tremendous pride in watching them grow and build lives and families of their own.
Some of Vince and Donna’s most treasured memories were made as a family—taking their boys on ski and beach trips and welcoming friends into their home. They especially loved entertaining in their backyard, where many evenings were spent gathered by the pool, sharing good food, conversation, laughter, and undoubtedly a story or two from Vince. He always enjoyed a round of golf, especially during March Madness in Las Vegas with his golfing buddies. Vince loved cheering on his Florida State Seminoles, and was never one to shy away from a dance floor. He was a member of Hillside Methodist Church, where his faith and friendships were an important part of his life. He especially treasured the men in his weekly Bible study group. Most recently, Vince experienced one of life’s greatest joys when he became a grandfather to Wells.
Of all Vince’s accomplishments, none meant more to him than his family. He leaves behind a legacy of which he was incredibly proud. He is survived by his wife, Donna Lynn Clark Sanders; his son, Trenton Reed Sanders and his wife, Carlie Novak Sanders, and grandson, Wells Clark Sanders of Sweetwater, Tennessee; and his son, Garret Clark Sanders and his wife, MaryJohn Collier Sanders, of Albany, Georgia.
He is also survived by his mother, Georgia Myers and her husband, Clay; his siblings and their families, Lori and John Weires, Renee and Patrick Denney, and Jarrod Sanders; his brother-in-law, LeDon Clark and his wife, Tammy; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Vince was preceded in death by his father, Barry Sanders, and his in-laws, Sybil and Richard Clark.
Vince was caring, social, and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone, but what made him special was that he didn’t simply talk—he listened. When someone needed him, Vince showed up. His family and friends could tell countless stories of his generosity, encouragement, and willingness to be there for others.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 27th at 2pm at Hillside Church, located at 4474 Towne Lake Parkway in Woodstock, Georgia. Following the service, the family will receive friends and loved ones from 3:00 to 5:00pm at Eagle Watch Golf Club.
In lieu of flowers, we ask those desiring to make gifts in memory of Vince to Lupus Foundation of America (1337 Canton Rd Ste D, Marietta, GA 30066).
