Weldon Len Queen

Mr. Weldon Len Queen 73 of Waleska departed this life peacefully on Tuesday July 25, 2023, at his residence with family by his side. Mr. Queen was born in Blue Ridge, Georgia to his parents Charlie and Leah Mae Everett Queen. Mr. Queen was a homebuilder and carpenter by trade, he loved to admire the homes he built, but most of all he loved his family and the time spent with them, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Weldon is predeceased by his wife of 54 years Brenda Blevins Queen, sister, Joann Queen, brother, Charlie Queen and grandson, Allie Moyer. Survivors include children, Laura Rogers, Tacey Allen (Darrell) and Shane Queen, siblings, Maxcille Hite, Mary Seabolt, Hoit Queen, Steve Queen and Larry Queen, grandchildren, Kelsey Kay, Corey Jones, Owen Queen and Ruby Queen, 6 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Services to honor the life of Mr. Weldon Len Queen will be Monday August 1, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Woodstock Church of Christ with Minister Matt Amos officiating, the body will lie in state from 11:00 A.M until 1:00 P.M. Entombment services will follow in the Rolling Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation at Poole Funeral Home Monday July 31, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
