William Thomas Carlisle, Canton, GA, passed away October 28, 2013 following a long battle with Diabetes and related diseases. Born in Jacksonville, FL, June 15, 1942, he lived and worked in Jacksonville for many years. After Navy service in the early 1960's he married Martha Elizabeth Anderson in 1966 and together they had three wonderful children: William Todd Carlisle, Thomas Scott Carlisle and Ashley Carlisle Baxter. He was a Deacon at First Baptist Church, Jacksonville for many years before moving to the Atlanta area in 1998 where he was a member of First Baptist Church, Woodstock. Tom is survived by his wife, children and 9 grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. A graveside service will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA on October 30, 2013 at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests gifts to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
