

Bill was a quiet man who loved his family dearly. He was laid back, and a man of few words but many actions. Bill played guitar for many years, and playing country was his favorite. He hard worker and truly enjoyed his job at Lockheed Martin. Bill was a Civil War buff, and he also spent many hours researching his family tree. Most days you could find Bill outside doing what he loved, fixing things.
In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his brother, Danny Housley.
Bill is lovingly survived by his wife of 62 years, Delinda Housley, his daughter, Kelly Diane Housley, son, William Gregory (Susan) Housley Sr., four grandchildren; Melody Louise (Ben) McCullough, C. Tylor (Hailey) Stanley, William Gregory Housley Jr., and Nicholas Bryson Housley, six great-grandchildren; Hayden Paul McCullough, Nola Jane McCullough, Delilah Ann McCullough, Elliott Lucas Stanley, Piper Elaine Stanley, and one on the way. He is also survived by his brothers; Johnny Housley, Dewayne housley, and sister, Sheila Marie Savage.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 11:00am to 1:00pm, at Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, Georgia. Following at 1:00pm, we will celebrate Bill in the chapel at Woodstock Funeral Home.
