William Bill Tate

Bill was wed to Harriet Louise Schraag in 1973 in Chicago and they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past April. Bill, Harriet, and their children moved to Woodstock, GA in 1989.

He is survived by his loving wife, Harriet, daughter Erika Tate, grandchildren Alexis Dorris and Harry Tate (Woodstock, GA), son Erik Tate and daughter-in-law Lindsay Tate, and grandchildren Penelope, Oliver, and Everly Tate (Cameron, MO); and his brother, Gerry Tate.

Bill spent 50 years as a computer programmer and consultant, and enjoyed tinkering with his computers and programming in his free time.

Bill was an avid lover of Chicago Blackhawks hockey, University of Georgia football, and his many beloved canine companions.

He and Harriet took immense joy in competing in obedience and agility trials with their many dalmatians.

Bill will be greatly missed by his family and will always be remembered by his loved ones. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to ASPCA
