Anita Dilgard, age 86, of Columbus, died February 2, at Worthington Christian Village. She was a former summer resident of Lakeside, OH. Graduate of North High School and The Ohio State University. She was an elementary school teacher in the Columbus City School District. She was the social chair at Alum Creek Sailing Association and was the public relations coordinator at Winterfair arts and crafts show. But what gave her the most joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband James L. Dilgard, brother Don Clarke, and son-in-law Vic Amarosa. Survived by children Pam (Larry) Pockras, Scott Williams, Jon (Karen) Dilgard, and Jodie Amarosa; grandchildren Jill (Elliott) Hostetter, Tim (fiancée Leigh Stone) Pockras, Zach, Josh, and Sammy Williams, Leah and Laura Amarosa; great-grandchild Carley Hostetter; and sister-in-law Lani Clarke. Memorial service 3pm, Saturday, February 11, at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N. High St. where there will be a celebration reception following in the Griswold Room at the funeral home.
