

Born February 28, 1931, in Mishawaka, IN, Anna Marie earned a B.S. from Marquette U. (1953) and an M.S.W. from Ohio State (1966), and led a life of service in the field of social work. For Anna Marie, social work was not only a career, but “a way of life.” Notably, she was a Planner for the first Community Mental Health Center in Franklin County, assisted in developing geriatric services for the OSU College of Medicine, and was Executive Director of the Alzheimer’s Disease Assoc. (ADRDA) of Columbus from 1984-1989.
A woman of multiple interests, Anna Marie loved reading (dramatic history), theater, travel, art, fashion, gardening, and, most of all, her friends.
Preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte Raab, step-father, Erhardt Strohm, (father, Howard Malia), sister, Patricia (Malia) McIntee, brother Thomas Malia, and husbands Gordon Stott, Lindley Kumler, and Gerald Lacy Robinson.
Survived by daughter Karen (Briar) Pope, and step children David Robinson, James Robinson, and Susan (Robinson) Switzer. Visiting hours and informal service to be held at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N. High St, Worthington, OH 43085, Wednesday, March 25, 6-8 p.m. All are welcome.
