William R. “Bill” Loomis, 90, of Columbus, passed away on September 8, 2025. He was born on December 7, 1934, to the late William and Mary (Hott) Loomis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by His siblings, James Loomis and Janet Loomis. Bill served in the US Army and Air Force. In addition to his service in the military, Bill was a Mason with the Blendon Lodge and Aladdin Shrine. As a passionate Corvette enthusiast, Bill was one of the founding members of the Capital City Corvette Club in 1975.
Bill will be greatly missed by his wife Linda S. (Henson) Loomis; mother in-law Mary (Hildenbrand) White; children Scott Robinson and September Robinson; grandchildren Tyler Robinson and Cameron Robinson.
A visitation for Bill will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Schoedinger Worthington.
