Brucia Simpson, age 80, of Westerville, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s residence on January 24, 2024, with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. She was born September 6, 1943 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Paul and Mary Elizabeth (Nicholson) Falkenberg. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her former husband, Jerry K. Simpson.
Brucia is survived by her children Laura (Fritz) Lintelman and Jeff (Kelli) Simpson; step-grandchildren Ryan (Connie), Justin, and Jameson; grandchildren Alex, Andrew, and Ethan; brother Barth (Sandi) Falkenberg; niece Katie and nephew John (Katie) Falkenberg, and their mother Barbara.
Laura and Fritz would like to extend special thanks to Brucia’s dear friend Cliff Frasher and his family, Mt. Carmel Hospice, Willow Brook by Day, and the staffs of Dr. Melissa Dine, Dr. Audrey Lower, and Dr. Susan Robinson for all of their support and their compassionate, kind care of Brucia.
