Brunhild emigrated to the United States in 1948 to marry Norris Coleman of Columbus, Ohio, to whom she was wed until his death in 1995. She was employed by Nationwide Insurance in Columbus, where she rose to the position of Department Manager before she retired in 1993.
Brunhild’s retirement years were filled with world travel and the company of her numerous dear friends. She was an active member of the Powell YMCA for many years.
Surrounded by family, Brunhild passed away on December 25, 2025 in Powell, Ohio. She is survived by her son Jeffrey, daughter Joy, grandson Philip, granddaughter Mireille, and great-granddaughter Chloe. Brunhild is remembered for her love, her courage, her resilience, and her loyalty. She is deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
