Charles Edward Ott

Charles (Charlie) E. Ott, age 93, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 1, 2023. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 3, 1929 to the late Oliver & Bessie Ott. Charlie graduated from Central High School, retired from Kaufman-Lattimer after 40 years as a Pharmaceutical Buyer. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid fisherman, bowler, and woodworker and was a member of the Hilliard Horseshoe Club for 20 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son PFC Kevin C. Ott; his wife, Amy and 4 sisters and 3 brothers. He’s survived by: Pamela (John) Condo; Diana Roberts; Joyce (Roy Leslie) Norris; Douglas (Ruth) Ott; and Julie (Jim) Pack and 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 6 at 5-7 pm at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel at 6699 N. High Street, Worthington where the funeral service will begin Friday, July 7 at 11 am with Reverend John Colburn officiating, viewing at 10 am. Interment to follow at Mifflin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The American Red Cross.
