Curtis P. Sizemore

Curtis P. Sizemore, 59, passed away on September 2, 2024. He was born on October 22, 1964, in Columbus, Ohio, to Patrick and Clara (Dial) Sizemore. In addition to his parents he is survived by his sister Paula (Philip) Stoll, nephews Joshua and Jacob Stoll, and niece Hannah Stoll, and Great niece Kian Stoll, and Aunt Linda (Dial) Chapman and Uncle Richard Chapman. He was preceded in death by his sister Carol Ann. He was also survived by numerous cousins and friends.

Curt grew up in Columbus, Ohio. He was always busy as a young boy. He had many friends and did many jobs in the neighborhood, including delivering the morning Columbus Dispatch.

He attended Worthington Christian Schools from his 5th grade to 10th grade and Ft. Hayes Technical School and Northland High School his last two years, graduating from Northland. He attended Columbus State College, studying Restaurant and Hotel Management from which he received his degree, and also graduated from The Ohio State University in Political Science. He worked at various restaurants to help pay his tuition.

Curt was an Executive Chef and worked in Cincinnati and Dayton, as well as Columbus. He liked to make his family wonderful meals, primarily Italian.

Curt was a member of the Grace Polaris Church. He was active as a youngster, being a member of the Bible Quiz team.

He was a big sports fan. He followed the OSU Buckeyes, Cincinnati Bengals, and Columbus Blue Jackets for many years.

Curt was also an animal lover. He always had a dog as he was growing up until a cat named Smokey ran into his house when his door was open and never left.

Curt had many friends from his days at OSU that he stayed in contact. They have been like family to him for many years.

Curt left us much too soon and will be missed. We look forward to seeing him again in Heaven.

A visitation for Curt will be held September 21, 2024 from 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM at The Ministry Center of Grace Polaris Church, 8225 Worthington Galena Road, Westerville, OH. 43082, followed by a Memorial service at 10:00 AM.
