Dale S. Kessler

Dale Kessler, 86, of Delaware, passed away on September 21, 2025. He was born on January 5, 1939, to the late Edward and Erma (Probst) Kessler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenny, Edward, Lynn, and Gary.

Dale attended The Ohio State University and received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. Following college, he proudly served in the United States Army and following his service he was a programmer. In his free time, Dale loved to hike, ride his bike, and travel. His travels included sailing on 20 different cruises, traveling to Europe twice, and walking the Great Wall of China to name a few.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Ruth; nieces, Karen Cory of Washington state and Anna Kessler of Newark OH; sister-in-law, Julie Kessler of Lancaster OH; and numerous extended family and close family friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 11am until 12pm and a funeral will follow at 12pm at the Schoedinger Worthington Funeral Home, 6699 North High St., Worthington OH, 43085.
