David Ferguson

Dave was a wonderful man who was always kind and helpful to others. After retiring from the food distribution business, Dave enjoyed golf, pickleball, and travel. He also loved creating culinary delights for his family and friends. Dave cherished his time spent with his grandkids following their many pursuits and participating as their greatest fan!

Dave will be greatly missed by his wife, Diana Ferguson; daughters, Lindsay (Brian) Clymer and Shelley (Keith) Moreland; grandchildren, Hailey, AJ, Kylie, Bree, and Ava; Brother, Brian Ferguson; and his special four legged friend, Penny.

In addition to being a transplant recipient, Dave was a regular blood donor. The family encourages those who can, to donate blood and consider being an organ, eye, and tissue donor.

The family wishes to thank the Ohio State University pulmonary and medical teams who cared so wonderfully for Dave throughout his transplant journey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to advance lung research at the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. A memorial service for David will be held Monday, January 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, OH 43085, followed by a visitation from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
