David I. Nordholt, age 69, died February 24th, 2025. Dave is preceded in death by parents John B. “Jack” Nordholt II and Joanne Pedigo Nordholt, brother John B Nordholt III, and brother-in-law Thomas Hunnicut. He is survived by sons Jack (Annie), Peter, and Samuel Nordholt, and their mother Laure Schoedinger; granddaughters Hattie and Hannah; sisters Jane Elizabeth Nordholt (Richard Hughes) and Ann Hunnicut. Dave graduated from Columbian High School in Tiffin, OH. He attended Ohio Wesleyan University where he played football, and The Ohio State University where he graduated with a degree in industrial design. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to all. His passion for creating and collecting various forms of art and music allowed those close to Dave to experience his sweet soul. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4pm on Wednesday, March 12, at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N. High St, with reception to follow. Interment Greenlawn Cemetery, Tiffin, OH, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friends of the Smithsonian, www.si.edu, in his memory.
