David J. Zaroka, 71, of Columbus, passed away on January 11, 2024. He was born in Akron to the late Peter and Elanore (McGuire) Zaroka.
David was dedicated to St. John Chrysostom church. He graduated from Copley High School and attained a degree in business from Akron University while working at Goodyear. David also worked in Columbus for Frigidaire and Glimcher.
David will be greatly missed by his wife, Mary Rita (Schmitz) Zaroka; bothers Dana and Darrell (Sharon), sisters-in-law Joanne Talnagi and Barb Durthaler; brothers-in-law Pat (Christy) Mark (Jacque) and Tom (Dianna) Schmitz; and many nieces and nephews
Private services will be held for David. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to American Cancer Society.
