Esther (Bishop) Woerth

Esther (Bishop) Woerth, 97, passed away on June 24, 2026, at Brookdale Trillium Crossing, Columbus, Ohio where she resided the past 4 years. She was born on January 23, 1929, in Centerburg, Ohio to Arthur and Elizabeth Bishop. Her family later moved to Mansfield, Ohio where she graduated from Mansfield Senior High School. It was there that she met Robert (Bob) Woerth and married him, together raising three children. Later, Esther worked as a secretary in the Malabar High School library. She retired from there and moved to Powell, Ohio, to be closer to her children in Worthington, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings (Rachel, Alan, Miller and Wendall), husband, Robert Woerth, and granddaughter, Allison Rowe. She is survived by her children, Lauri (Steven) Rowe, Greg (Beth) Woerth, Theresa (Paul) Kirk, 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. There will be a private family service at a later date.
