

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Jack Damron, Sr., and her second husband, Donald Stoltz, as well as her daughters Rinda Lou Mayes and Bessie Dorene Barbour; her sons Ricky Glenn Damron and Randy Dale Damron, as well as her granddaughter Nicole Brittany Mayes.
She is survived by her sons Charles Jack, Jr., Lowell, and Gary Russell Damron and her daughter Sally Melinda Poling; her grandchildren Amanda, Zackory, Ashley, Stephanie, Nick, David, Jerry, Alyssa, Kyle and Eddie along with 14 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Oscar and Woodrow Marcum and her sisters Dorothy Perry and Linda Ison, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Florene worked for over twenty years as a cook at Whetstone Convalescent Center from where she retired.
Family will receive visitors from 10am - 1230pm on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Services- Worthington, 6699 N High Street. Graveside committal will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lockbourne at 130pm that afternoon.
