

Gerri was born on August 19th,1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Adam and Frances Bonsky.
She is preceded in death by her cherished husband, Thomas Steward, and now she is again by his side.
Gerri is survived by her sister, Barbara Donovan and her husband, Thomas; her four children: daughter, Denise Knight (Kaczmarek) and her husband, Dean; sons, David Kaczmarek and his wife, Aysu Basaran, and Dwight Kaczmarek and his husband, Timothy Yanko; and her youngest daughter, Dorene Kaczmarek. She is also survived by her three granddaughters, Isabel, Olivia, and Ella Kaczmarek, who were precious to her and brought immense joy to her life.
Throughout her life, Gerri had battled many health ailments courageously and was a true warrior in her later years. Her life of 83 years was full and vibrant, and she had many talents. Her proudest accomplishment was working in the medical field assisting and caring for patients. She gave them hope and courage to fight any health concern.
Gerri's unique blend of humor, kindness, and strength touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Whether family, friends, acquaintances, or even those she met briefly, she left a lasting impression through her warmth, generosity, and genuine care for others. Her exuberant spirit and compassionate nature were boundless, and she was deeply loved by many. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she brightened and the memories she leaves behind.
