Jarod could light up a room with his presence. He was kind, generous, and always willing to help a friend in need.
Gary L. Harris, Jarod’s father, preceded him in death. Surviving family are his mother Bonnie Kubala; stepfather Jim Kubala; brother Logan Harris; step siblings Kelly Francis-Love (Kubala), Kim Shaw (Kubala), Brian Kubala; along with nephews and nieces Kennedy, Carter, Annabelle, Reagan, and Jackson.
Jarod graduated high school from Thomas Worthington/Linworth Experiential School in Worthington, OH. He also graduated from Edwins Leadership and Restaurant institute in Shaker Heights, OH with a culinary certificate. Being a chef was his goal and passion. Jarod worked at The Brass Eye in the Junto Hotel in Columbus, OH as a chef. Jarod volunteered with St Vincent De Paul in Columbus and Hope Center in Marysville.
Jarod loved to travel. Some of the places he’s been are New Zealand, California, Washington, Canada, South Carolina, Virginia, New York City and Germany.
