

J. Floyd Bosher, Sr. entered the presence of his Lord and Savior on March 15, 2026, at the age of 90. Born in Mechanicville, Virginia, Floyd grew up with a strong faith and a heart for serving others—qualities that shaped his entire life.
For 68 years, Floyd devoted himself to ministry, sharing the love of Christ with everyone he met. His most cherished years were spent at Worthington Christian Village, where he served faithfully for three decades. He was known for his kindness, his gentle humor, and his ability to make every person feel seen and valued.
Floyd also spent many years as a school bus driver, touching the lives of countless children with his steady presence and warm smile.
While attending Cincinnati Bible Seminary, Floyd met the love of his life, Barbara Ann Armentrout. Their 60-year marriage was filled with laughter, partnership, and unwavering devotion until her passing in 2016.
Floyd is survived by his children—Johna (Eddie) Walters, Forest Oh, Gayle (Bill) Ward,Kenton, Oh Julie (Orlando) Chavez, Worthington, OH and John (Tonya) Bosher, Ashland, Ky —along with nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson Matthew Tyler Ward in 2014, brothers, W. Cleveland Bosher and Everett Bosher.
His life will be remembered and celebrated on Saturday, March 28, at 2:00 p.m. at Worthington Christian Village. All are welcome to join the family in honoring his legacy.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites contributions to the Worthington Christian Village Benevolent Fund.
