Justin Michael Routte

Justin is survived by his wife, Shannon, and children Emma and Logan. He is joining his angel daughter Olivia in heaven. Justin was known for his playful and fun personality. You could often find him with a smile on his face. He enjoyed trips to Disney World and the beach with his family, playing in arcades with his children, and having fun.

Justin struggled with alcoholism for years, and ultimately, it’s what claimed his life. Unfortunately, the passing of his youngest daughter brought it to its peak and he was unable to find his light again. Our hope now is that he’s in the light again, right alongside Olivia.

In addition to his wife and children, Justin is survived by his parents, Jeff and Rose Routte, and siblings, Jen, Jason, and Josh. He is survived by his in-laws Dana and Steve Johnson, along with his brother-in-law Brian and wife Mackenzie. He is survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends too.

Family will welcome friends from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. on Monday, November 27, 2023 at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N High St, Worthington, OH 43085 where a service will begin at 4 p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow from 4:45 p.m-7:00 p.m., at The Jessing Center at The Josephinum,7625 N High St.

Alvis is a non-profit organization that provides support and services to individuals with justice involvement, men in recovery, women and children in recovery, individuals with intellectual/development disabilities, and workforce development. Donations will go towards the men in recovery program in honor of Justin.
