Karen L. Layton

Karen L Layton age 83, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home on October 10, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Dwight Layton, her parents, Peter Lawrence and Catherine Matchack, brothers, Larry and Art Matchack, sisters Donna Morris and Lisa Beth Matchack and granddaughter Kelsey Kinkead. Karen is survived by her daughters, Tami (Donnie) Kinkead, Theresa Myers and Lori Layton; sister, Diana (John) Rorabaugh, brothers Mike (Karen) Matchack, Donnie (Ethel) Matchack; granddaughters Caitlyn (Brian) Moriarty and Emily Myers, as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Karen was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and season ticket holder. She enjoyed traveling to Bowl games and all the Big Ten stadiums.

Services have been entrusted to Schoedinger Chapel, 6699 North High St. Worthington OH 43085 where family will receive visitors on Wednesday, October 22 from 10-12 with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at noon.
