Lea Elshoff, who always said she was too young to be this old, was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1934. In 1941 her family moved to Lima, Ohio, and later to New Knoxville, Ohio, where she grew up with the love of her life, Ken, who preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Bliss Business College. She and Ken were blessed with two sons, David (Heidi) and Steven (Anne) and with special grandchildren, Kenny (Megan), Erich, Paige, Daniel and Shannon, and many special friends who became like family to her. She was active in many church and community groups and loved animals, nature, music, and York peppermint patties. A memorial service is planned for Sunday, September 14th at Linworth United Methodist Church, 7070 Bent Tree Boulevard with her dear friend the Rev. Dr. H. Eugene Folden, officiating. No flowers are requested, and contributions may be made to the Linworth United Methodist Church Endowment Fund or to the Kenneth R. and Lea A. Elshoff Scholarship Fund at Ohio Northern University, Ada, Ohio.
