Lorrie Young, 55, of Westerville, passed away on July 6, 2022. She was born on October 5, 1966, in Cleveland Ohio, to Charles and Joyce (Spalding) Mauger. In addition to her mother, Lorrie was preceded in death by her son, Israel Young; and her grandparents.
Lorrie graduated from Worthington High School (Linworth Experiential Program) in 1985, and graduated with an Accounting degree from Otterbein in 1997. Lorrie started her own accounting company, Worthington Accounting Group in 2013.
Lorrie was a music lover. She enjoyed singing and performing karaoke. She also was a fabulous cook and enjoyed entertaining family and friends. She loved the sights and sounds of the ocean, and wanted to one day retire to the beach.
Lorrie will be greatly missed by her son, Solomon Young; father, Charles E. Mauger; siblings, Keith (Phylicia) Mauger, Beth (Mike) Agourrame, Nancy Giaguzzo, and Meridian Schmidt, nieces and nephews; and her pets, Nova, Bill, Ernie, and Echo.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held July 24th from 2-5 at Schoedinger Worthington Funeral home at 6699 N. High Street. Worthington, OH. 43085
