Margo Ann Leinheuser

Margo was born on December 17th, 1957 in Columbus,Ohio and passed away at Saint Ann’s Westerville on June 6th, 2024. She lost her seven year battle with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) due to complications from the disease. She is preceeded in death by parents Richard J. and Nancy (Hinterschied) Schilling. Margo graduated from Walnut Ridge High School in 1975 and attended The Ohio State University. Margo worked for Harts/Big Bear stores from 1974 through 1989 and Nationwide Insurance from 1989 though 2014 where she retired from Sales Operations. During her work career Margo was active in the United Way of Delaware County and Board member for the Women’s Leadership Network. Margo was an avid Cleveland professional and Ohio State sports fan. She was also an avid gardener and her crowning glory was being on the 2013 WesterFlora tour. It was amazing how she could remember the names of every plant, tree and bush in her yard and had certain things planted that bloomed at different stages in the spring. It is always a color show!

Margo is survived by her husband of 35 years Brian, daughter Krysta (Jonathan) Wilcox, son Kristopher, grandchildren Aubrey Wilcox, Kirk Wilcox, Malachi Leinheuser and Otto Leinheuser along with siblings Rick Schilling, Terri (Steve) Martin, Diane Schilling, Brian Schilling and Patti (Bob) McEwen, sister-in-law Suzanne (Brad) McCoy, Brother-In-Law Rick (Susan) Leinheuser, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Margo fought a brave battle against an insidious disease that took away her life but not her spirit. Margo made many friendships during her life and held a few close to her heart and she cherished those friendships. Probably the most important thing to her was her children and grandchildren. They always came first and she would light up when they came into the room as she was proud of all of them. She was a loving mother, wife and friend and will be sorely missed by all. She lived her life to the fullest and passed peacefully. She is now with the angels in heaven resting in eternal peace.

A memorial service for Margo will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, OH 43085, followed by a visitation from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
