Martha I. Jewell

Martha Isabell Jewell, 90, of Mooresville, passed away on January 17, 2026. She was born on June 19, 1935 in Albany Ohio, to the late Merrill and Mary Chase. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years Terrance L. Jewell and her brother Charles D. Chase.

Martha graduated from Albany HS in 1953, was a secretary at Ohio State University, Grace Brethren Church and The Presbyterian Ministers Fund. Martha and Terry both loved camping and traveling the world. After retirement, they spent their time in Apple Valley and winters at Travelers Rest in Florida where they made many friends. Martha spent her last years in Mooresville as a long-time resident at Terra Bella Senior Living where she was very active. She was an ambassador to new residents, enjoyed painting, crafting and sewing.

Martha will be greatly missed by children, Dawna (Bruce) Golden, Amy (Andrew Clements Sr.) Fugate; grandchildren, Drew (Nickie) Golden, Bryce (Kaitlyn) Golden, Kellie (Keith) Ciccone and Brittany (Timothy Miller) Fugate; great grandchildren, Avery, Henry and Ridge Golden, Paisley Ciccone, and Kaden, Brielle Miller, and Josephine Fugate.

A visitation for Martha will be held Saturday January 31 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Schoedinger Worthington Funeral Home, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday February 7, 2026 at Terra Bella Senior Living in Mooresville NC.
