Melanie L. Prechel, age 75 went to her heavenly home on May 6, 2025. She was born April 18, 1950 in Mariemont, Ohio to the late Richard and Martha Krumm (Fenstermacher). Melanie was a graduate of Grant Hospital School of Nursing and spent her career at Mount Carmel East Hospital. She was a devout Christian who cherished her relationship with God and dedicated her life to teaching the "word" of our lord.
She is survived by daughters Mindy (Jeff) Clark, and Amy (Charles) Wagner. Grandchildren Michael Braumiller, Benjamin and William Wagner. Her sisters Claudia Cassady, Julianne (Keith) Palermini and brother Matthew (Linda) Krumm. Nieces and nephews, Elaina and Mario Palermini and Robert and Daniel Krumm.
Melanie was cremated and private burial services will be held at Mifflin Cemetery in Gahanna, Ohio.
