Nancy Jane Buel

Born in Manhattan, New York on August 27, 1945, Nancy moved to Ohio at a young age. She was raised in Columbus and graduated from Whetstone High School in 1963. She went on to build a fulfilling career, eventually retiring as the dedicated Office Manager of Midwest Physicians Anesthesia.

Nancy’s greatest joy was her family. She looked forward to annual family vacations in Florida, camping adventures, and gathering everyone together for the holidays. An avid reader, she could often be found lost in a good book.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Olga Bowers; her brother, Ken Bowers; and her beloved partner, Gary Sowers.

Nancy's love lives on through her children, Bryan (Reda) Park, Jennifer Parsisson, and Brad Park; her grandchildren, Nic Park, Kris Park, Emma Parsisson, and Alexandria Bogar; and her great-grandson, Bash Bogar. She is also survived by her brother, Ric Bowers; sisters-in-law, Debby Miller (Tim) and Kathy Bowers; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, stepchildren, and step grandchildren.

Private family time will be held prior to cremation services, which are entrusted to Schoedinger Funeral Home. Nancy will be laid to rest in Hamden Cemetery in Vinton County at a later date.
