Nancy loved music. She learned to play the piano at 5 years old and continued on to learn the clarinet, banjo and guitar. After high school Nancy joined the Hootenanny tour, singing and playing guitar.
During her life, she taught music, sang in her church choir, dabbled in being a professional clown, worked with teenagers, learned photography and created spaces to sell art and other handmade items.
Nancy was a creative person who loved change. She traveled throughout the country, settling for a time in Alaska, Texas, Arizona, California, Kentucky, Florida and Ohio, her home state.
She truly loved God and trusted in him to care for her and her loved ones.
She chose to live everyday by her favorite quote "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a great battle." (Philo)
She is survived by her loving husband Ronald Torsen, children; Stephanie Cox, Daniel Cox III, Mary Ganance, Nita Torsen, grandchildren; Stephan Kirk, Zachary Kirk, Elizabeth Ward, Cole Ward and Dee Cox and great grandchild Romello, siblings; Steve Callahan, Cindy Bruns, Len Hughes and Jeff Hughes.
