Patricia Langley

Patricia Rourke Langley passed peacefully into the arms of our Savior Jesus in Sunbury, Ohio on April 1, 2024. She was born on March 30, 1955 in Laramie, Wyoming to William and Jeanne Rourke. While Pat moved to other states in her lifetime, Wyoming always held the most special place in her heart.

A wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend, Pat will be remembered as a woman with an unshakable faith in Jesus. A member of Lifepoint church, she was always generous with her time and loved serving at church. She had an incredible talent for sewing and quilting and enjoyed spending her free time working on quilts that she would gift to many of her loved ones. She always had a smile, hug, and an encouraging word for anyone who needed it. She was blessed to have the sweetest group of friends “The Cluster” that she went through life with for over 35 years. She was also blessed to be a part of Steve and Gwen Koob’s life group that served and ministered to her throughout the darkest days of her illness. Throughout the challenges Pat faced in life, she always focused on her blessings. She had a tremendous desire and never missed an opportunity to bless others. She will be very dearly missed, but we take solace in the fact that she is fully healed in the presence of the Lord, and that we will one day be reunited with her through Christ.

Pat went on to spend 34 years as a certified payroll specialist with several companies before retiring from Cleverley and Associates. She considered Cleverley more of a family than a job.

Preceded in death by her parents William and Jeanne Rourke and sister Carol Rourke and brother in law Larry Langley. Patricia is survived by her children; Kimberly Long (Corey), and Miles Langley (Elisa); grandchildren Liam Long, Mia Long, Carter Langley, Finn Long, Bella Long, Ryker Langley, and Evelyn Langley; brother Kenneth Rourke (Phyllis); Brothers and sisters in law Bert and Deedy Langley, Charlotte and Gerald Romero, Mark and Chrysse Langley, and Elizabeth Langley; and many other beloved family members and friends.
